We read with the same appetite we publish with: a taste for the overlooked, the strange, and the quietly brilliant. If your manuscript has been passed over for being too interesting rather than not interesting enough, we want to hear from you.

What we're looking for

Work that rewards a careful reader — across fiction, narrative non-fiction, and history told through an unexpected lens. We have a particular soft spot for translation and for books the bigger houses called "unclassifiable."

How to send it

Email a short note about the work, a one-page synopsis, and the first twenty pages. Tell us what overlooked book yours belongs beside on the shelf.
